Bio

 Grace Farish is a multimedia artist who explores soft traumas within the family unit and what it means to exist within a family through lens-based mediums. Farish’s work is created with an understanding of the materials and connotations surrounding them creating layers of meaning and interpretation. Grace’s anthropological work focuses on culture and what it means to be human: combining the worlds of social science and art has allowed them to view the world through a variety of lenses.

Farish earned their degree in Anthropology in December of 2019 from the University of Kentucky and their BFA in Art Studio with a minor in Visual Studies in May of 2021 where they focused heavily on photographic mediums with a special interest in 19th-century alternative photographic processes.
